Gli ho portato una bici che era stata urtata da una macchina, per cui aveva diverse cose da sistemare. Gli ho chiesto un preventivo spiegandogli che, trattandosi di una bici vecchia e di seconda mano, non avrei voluto spenderci più di 50 euro e che pertanto, se il costo fosse stato eccessivo, non avrei proceduto con le riparazioni. Inizialmente mi ha preventivato un costo intorno ai 40 euro, per cui gli ho lasciato la bici, successivamente però il costo è salito a 50 euro, e, quando sono andata a riprendermi la bici, è diventato 60 e infine ben 70 euro. In my case, Mr. Massa proved to be very incorrect. I brought him a bike that had been hit by a car, so he had several things to fix. I asked him for a quote explaining that, being an old and second-hand bike, I would not have wanted to spend more than 50 euros on it and that therefore, if the cost had been excessive, I would not have proceeded with the repairs. Initially he estimated a cost of around 40 euros, so I left him the bike, but later the cost went up to 50 euros, and, when I went to get my bike back, it became 60 and finally a good 70 euros.
