★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avrei dato una votazione anche più alta se non fosse stato per il totale disastro in cui si è presentata per la prima volta la torta che avevo ordinato: avevo richiesto due torte a forma di 1 e di 8 per il mio diciottesimo, entrambe fatte con pan di spagna, crema e frutta. Il pan di spagna era seghettato piuttosto che tagliato, rendendo la torta veramente poco appetibile, e per rimediare hanno proposto di ricoprirla di panna (cosa che assolutamente avrei preferito evitare dato che non mi piace, ma per salvare la torta ho accettato). Tra l'altro la panna era finita, quindi abbiamo dovuto aspettare circa mezz'ora fino a che fosse pronta. Non capisco perché i pasticceri non siano intervenuti subito e abbiano aspettato che ricevessimo la torta per vedere l'errore. Inoltre avevo chiesto di mettere due targhette su cui scrivere "Tanti auguri" e il mio nome, ma sulle targhette c'era scritto "Tanti auguri Num a Thea Num", dove "num" stava per "numero".. dato che la cassiera aveva scritto sulla richiesta di fare una scritta sul NUMERO uno e un'altra sul NUMERO otto... Mi sono fatta una bella risata almeno!
Ma la torta, una volta messa a posto era bella e buonissima, l'unica pecca, come ho detto, era la panna.
Sono specializzati in crostate, torte Saint Honoré, torte tartufate e Sacher, quindi consiglio di richiedere qui la vostra torta se gradite queste tipologie.
Anche la sezione del cibo salato è piacevole! Abbiamo provato tre panini e tutti molto buoni.
I would have given an even higher vote if it hadn't been for the total disaster in which the cake I had ordered came for the first time: I had requested two cakes in the shape of 1 and 8 for my eighteenth, both made with pan of spain, cream and fruit. The sponge cake was serrated rather than cut, making the cake really unattractive, and to remedy it they proposed to cover it with cream (something that I would have preferred to avoid since I don't like it, but to save the cake I accepted). Among other things, the cream was over, so we had to wait about half an hour until it was ready. I don't understand why the confectioners didn't intervene immediately and they waited for us to receive the cake to see the error. I had also asked to put two plates on which to write "Happy Birthday" and my name, but on the plates was written "Happy Birthday Num to Thea Num", where "num" stood for "number" .. since the cashier had written on the request to make a writing on the NUMBER one and another on the NUMBER eight ... I had a good laugh at least!
But the cake, once put into place was beautiful and very good, the only flaw, as I said, was the cream.
They specialize in pies, Saint Honoré cakes, tartufate cakes and Sacher cakes, so I recommend requesting your cake here if you like these types.
Even the salty food section is nice! We tried three sandwiches and all very good.
