★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The road is amazing but the experience is unfortunately spoiled by thousand of cyclist trying to make it as well. I would probably chose a less famous but equally curvy road (plenty of those in Italy)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Niiice. Take time to see excellent landscapes and have many stops because at every 500 m the landscape is changing. At list one day for having time to benefit of the surroundings. I fully recommend this place. It's one of the most impressive things I've ever seen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's a good reason it's considered one of the best Alpine passes. For the same reason it's almost mission impossible to not find a lot of traffic around but if you wake up early you might be able to enjoy it without much of it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ View brilliant if the clouds are gone. Lots of hairpin turns. Coming from the north you have 37 to get to the top. With a camper a bit nerve wracking sometimes. Couldn't take every turn in one go. View from the top is worth while and yes you can buy the t-shirt. Lots of cyclists and motorbikes on the road. Shops and hotels on top. Enough parking spaces too as you have to go for a walk around and see the views. They can come and go in minutes, just like the views. Snow still accessible. Spoken language is German. Going down heading south is a lot easier. Lots more open and roads easier to drive on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very nice hiking trail, tho good shoe equipment and all weather clothing are recommended. maybe not the best trail for beginners, but the beautiful panorama and flora is definitely worth it
