★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Panorama spettacolare...la giornata non era al top, era un po' nuvoloso... però tutto sommato a parte il vento c'era una piacevole aria fresca.
La salita fino su in cima nell'ultimo tratto è piuttosto ripida...e in questo periodo dell'anno è ancora presente della neve al suolo, ma solo nella parte terminale della salita.
 Spectacular panorama ... the day was not at the top, it was a bit cloudy ... but after all, apart from the wind there was a pleasant fresh air.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il valico è situato sullo spartiacque tra la Val Maira a sud e la Valle Varaita a nord ed è raggiunto da una strada non asfaltata che sale dal versante meridionale mentre sul versante settentrionale esistono solo sentieri pedonali; dal valico transita anche la strada non asfaltata di crinale che percorre lo spartiacque tra le due valli.
The pass is located on the watershed between the Val Maira in the south and the Varaita Valley in the north and is reached by an unpaved road that climbs from the southern slope while on the northern slope there are only pedestrian paths; from the pass also passes the unpaved ridge road that runs along the watershed between the two valleys.
