★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa sorge sull'area di un precedente edificio (o più di uno) di cui si ha notizia almeno dal 1304. L'attuale tempio fu realizzato nel 1875 e colpisce per l'aspetto scenografico, stile palladiano di matrice neo-classica con colonne corinzie. Un alto podio con scalinata accentua la sua possanza mentre la parte superiore presenta il gruppo in pietra che rappresenta il Redentore con due angeli e i santi Fermo e Rustico a cui la chiesa è intitolata. La parte superiore della facciata termina con la gronda, dove sono collocati angeli che reggono il calice e la croce.
Parcheggi nelle vicinanze. L'area è circondata da un piazzale pedonale che si affaccia sulla strada principale, che taglia letteralmente in due il paese. Di fronte si trova l'oratorio.
Interiormente non è stato possibile visitarla perché chiusa. Nel portico vi è un busto dedicato a papa Giovanni XXIII, cui del resto è dedicata anche la piazza.
The church stands on the area of a previous building (or more than one) of which we have news at least from 1304. The current temple was built in 1875 and is striking for the scenographic aspect, Palladian style of neo-classical matrix with columns Corinthian. A high podium with a staircase accentuates its strength while the upper part presents the stone group representing the Redeemer with two angels and the saints Fermo and Rustico to whom the church is dedicated. The upper part of the facade ends with the eaves, where angels holding the chalice and the cross are placed.
Parking nearby. The area is surrounded by a pedestrian square that overlooks the main road, which literally cuts the town in two. Opposite is the oratory.
It was not possible to visit it internally because it was closed. In the portico there is a bust dedicated to Pope John XXIII, to whom the square is also dedicated.
