L	Luigi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La progettazione della chiesa è stata affidata ad un architetto ateo, autore di edifici sacri simili in Francia, e già qui partiamo bene. L'architetto ha voluto rivoluzionare la struttura tradizionale, capovolgendo la cupola, con l'intento di significare, invece che la preghiera e la lode date a Dio dagli uomini e dal Sacrificio dell'altare – simboleggiato dalla cupola rivolta verso l'alto – la discesa di Dio verso gli uomini – per cui la cupola rivolta in basso. La chiesa inoltre non ha spazi dedicati alla preghiera individuale, poiché è stata pensata per la "preghiera comunitaria", mentre per le devozioni personali c'è la chiesa antica, di fronte (queste le parole, in pieno stile vaticansecondista, di un sacerdote). Per il resto, gli spazi interni sono organizzati a modo di sala congressi/tempio protestante, all'insegna del minimalismo iconografico (c'è una semplice croce stilizzata vicina all'altare e un grande medaglione con l'immagine in bassorilievo della Madonna e di San Massimiliano Maria Kolbe, sulla sinistra, con una statuina di Maria Santissima). Il tabernacolo con il Santissimo è invece relegato in un angolo tra il presbiterio e l'uscita. The design of the church was entrusted to an atheist architect, author of similar sacred buildings in France, and we are already off to a good start here. The architect wanted to revolutionize the traditional structure, overturning the dome, with the intention of signifying, instead of the prayer and praise given to God by men and the Sacrifice of the altar - symbolized by the dome facing upwards - the descent of God to men - so the dome faces down. The church also does not have spaces dedicated to individual prayer, since it was designed for "community prayer", while for personal devotions there is the ancient church, opposite (these are the words, in full Vatican-Secondary style, of a priest) . For the rest, the interior spaces are organized in the manner of a congress hall / Protestant temple, in the name of iconographic minimalism (there is a simple stylized cross near the altar and a large medallion with the bas-relief image of the Madonna and St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe, on the left, with a statue of the Most Holy Mary). The tabernacle with the Blessed Sacrament is instead relegated to a corner between the presbytery and the exit.

Personalmente preferisco la chiesa vecchia, più tradizionale: questa la trovo "fredda". The neighborhood needed a larger church and this was built together with the new oratory. Personally I prefer the old, more traditional church: I find this "cold".

P	Pinuccio Sibella on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La nuova chiesa di Loreto, ultimata nel 2008 e progettata dall'architetto Vittorio Gregotti, colpisce per le sue forme essenziali, la pianta é quadra e al centro é sormontata da una cupola cilindrica che fa filtrare la luce zenitale in direzione dell'altare, creando un effetto molto suggestivo oltre che simbolico. L'interno, anch'esso realizzato secondo i canoni dell'essenzialitá, si presenta arioso e luminoso. Da segnalare il nuovo organo con canne in legno per i registri gravi. Va da sé che, da un punto di vista squisitamente urbanistico, la scelta di costruirla quasi attaccata alla vecchia chiesa in un' area fortemente urbanizzata é opinabile. The new church of Loreto, completed in 2008 and designed by the architect Vittorio Gregotti, strikes for its essential shapes, the plant is square and in the center it is surmounted by a cylindrical dome that filters the zenith light towards the altar, a very suggestive as well as symbolic effect. The interior, also built according to the canons of essentiality, is airy and bright. Of note is the new organ with wooden pipes for the low registers. It goes without saying that, from a purely urban point of view, the choice of building it almost attached to the old church in a highly urbanized area is questionable.
