Nella parte alta dell'abitato sul sentiero di collegamento tra i Borghi delle 5 Terre é presente la Chiesa "Nostra signora della Salute" luogo storico e sacro del Territorio. Along the coastal road that connects the village of Manarola to that of Corniglia is the town of Volastra immersed in the cultivation of olive trees and vineyards. Innalzata con conci ben squadrati, ad aula unica, presenta una facciata a capanna con portale ad ogiva sormontato da una bifora. Non possiede abside avendo la canonica addossata al lato est. Inizialmente fu dedicata a san Lorenzo; solo alla fine del 1500 vi fu portato il culto della Madonna della Salute inizialmente venerata nella vicina Manarola. L'effige presente sull'altare dovrebbe risalire al 1700 mentre l'altare stesso è del 1873. The church is attested in 1240 but could date back to the 10th or 11th century. Raised with well squared ashlars, with a single hall, it has a gabled façade with an ogive portal surmounted by a mullioned window. It does not have an apse having the rectory attached to the east side. It was initially dedicated to San Lorenzo; only at the end of the 1500s was the cult of the Madonna della Salute brought to it, initially venerated in nearby Manarola. The effigy on the altar should date back to 1700 while the altar itself is from 1873.
