Sin embargo, bien mirado, quizá por la austeridad de sus muros, su sencillez le cofiere un aspecto sobrio que la integra perfectamente en el paisaje arquitectónico del pueblo. Sin llegar a destacar no pasa desapercibida.
Perhaps dressed like this, without going into detail, it does not attract attention. It does not waste artistic exuberance like other similar buildings. However, well looked at, perhaps due to the austerity of its walls, its simplicity gives it a sober aspect that integrates it perfectly into the architectural landscape of the town. Without standing out, it does not go unnoticed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fue construida en 1325, en sustitución de una iglesia anterior demolida para levantar el alcázar. La fachada, en estilo románico, es muy sencilla, en piedra. El interior, completamente renovado durante el siglo XVII, es muy simple, articulado en una sola nave y con pilares de piedra con grandes arcos apoyados en las paredes, alternando con vigas. En el altar mayor podemos ver un tabernáculo de madera dorada, obra de Alessandro Casolani, mientras que en la pared derecha del presbiterio destaca un fresco del siglo XIV que representa a la Virgen con el niño y santos. La visita es gratuita.
It was built in 1325, replacing a previous church demolished to raise the fortress. The facade, in Romanesque style, is very simple, in stone. The interior, completely renovated during the seventeenth century, is very simple, articulated in a single nave and with stone pillars with large arches supported on the walls, alternating with beams. On the main altar we can see a tabernacle of gilded wood, by Alessandro Casolani, while on the right wall of the presbytery there is a 14th century fresco depicting the Virgin with the child and saints. The visit is free.
