Vi si respira un'atmosfera ancora più raccolta e suggestiva. La sua collocazione un po' distante dal Centro cittadino ma immersa nel verde e vicinissima alle acque del Ticino la rendono ancora più preziosa e unica. The Romanesque basilica of S. Da visitare anche la zona oratorio, con la passeggiata del chiosco, attualmente in fase di un meritato restauro. Le sale dell'oratorio, recentemente restaurate, accolgono due volte alla settimana studenti delle scuole medie inferiori e superiori per un'attività di doposcuola, gestita dall'associazione Eduche' An ancient style place of worship, definitely worth visiting. A destra della chiesa si trova il chiostro piccolo fatto realizzare, come inciso nelle mensole in cotto, nel 1467 dall’abate Luca Zanachi. La struttura originariamente era a pianta quadrata (di cui rimane solo un lato porticato, dato che gli altri furono distrutti nel 1784) con cinque arcate, arricchite da figure di putti in terracotta, per ogni lato, poggianti su colonnine binate in in marmo rosso di Verona. To the right of the church is the small cloister built, as engraved in the terracotta brackets, in 1467 by Abbot Luca Zanachi. The structure originally had a square plan (of which only one side portico remains, since the others were destroyed in 1784) with five arches, enriched by figures of terracotta cherubs, on each side, resting on paired columns in red marble from Verona.

A	Anna on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella chiesa antica che sorgeva sulla sponda del Ticino in mezzo ai boschi, con annesso un monastero dei Monaci di Vallombrosa che fondarono la chiesa dedicandola al Santo Sepolcro. Poi venne costruita la nuova chiesa dove venne sepolto il vescovo Lanfranco, nell'arca marmorea. La struttura è a croce latina, a navata unica, architettura del tardo romanico, tanti affreschi importanti, due chiostri, un bellissimo campanile... Merita una visita guidata!
