Il nostro accompagnatore Enrico, il top, simpaticissimo e molto alla mano!!!
Scesi dal trenino, tutto il gruppo ha avuto a disposizione picconi e sacchettini per poter provare l'emozione di cercare e trovare Pirite, Ematite.. Etc. A Fine giro consigliatissimo visitare il museo dove vengono forniti i biglietti della prenotazione!
It was a nice experience! We took our 4, 9, 12 year olds with the little train!

I got off the train, the whole group had picks and bags at their disposal to be able to experience the thrill of searching and finding Pyrite, Hematite .. Etc. At the end of the tour, it is highly recommended to visit the museum where the booking tickets are provided!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Noi abbiamo preso la jeep con aldo e ci siamo divertiti davvero tanto. Bei panorami associati ad un po' di storia elbana immersi in una splendida natura mediterranea. Assolutamente da fare coi vostri bimbi e nettamente meglio del trenino che invece è un po' noiosetto...
We took the jeep with aldo and we had a lot of fun. Beautiful views associated with a bit of Elban history immersed in a splendid Mediterranean nature. Absolutely to do with your children and much better than the train which instead is a bit boring ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interessante sia la visita al museo che le escursioni alle miniere. Per o più grandi consiglio quella con la jeep per le famiglie con bimbi piccoli consiglio il trenino.
Interesting is the visit to the museum and the excursions to the mines. For older children I recommend the one with the jeep for families with small children I recommend the train.

Piacevole l'escursione sul trenino con una completa descrizione degli ambienti che si attraversano.
Simpatica anche l'uscita nell'area mineraria per la ricerca libera di minerali. Apprezzata particolarmente dai bambini ma non solo!
Interesting and well-kept museum with minerals and fossils in addition to reconstructions that reproduce life in the mine :-)
Pleasant excursion on the train with a complete description of the environments that you cross.
Also nice in the mining area for the free search for minerals. Especially appreciated by children but not only!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le foto parlano da sole ! Mare pulito bello isola di Palmaiola piccola ma affascinante nella sua naturalezza. Purtroppo qualche vandalo e incivile l'ha visitata prima di me lasciando scritte sul muro del faro e residui tra cui plastica e bottigliette. Da una parte occorrerebbe una bella pulizia e manutenzione all'approdo al sentiero ecc ma dall'altra poi la gente ci andrebbe e sciupetebbe tutto quindi ....
The photos speak for themselves! Clean sea beautiful island of Palmaiola small but charming in its naturalness. Unfortunately some vandal and uncivil has visited her before me leaving writings on the wall of the lighthouse and residues including plastic and bottles. On the one hand it would take a nice cleaning and maintenance of the landing on the path, etc. but on the other hand, people would go there and then waste everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed! Website said it was open daily from 9:30-12:30, we arrived at 10:30 and the door was locked, 2 people inside. Knocked on the door, man signalled closed, sign on door indicated it should be open. Tried calling, person answered said she didn't speak English and hung up! When the 2 people inside came out we tried to ask, was told come back tomorrow. The only bad experience we had on Elba island
