★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Papaveri & Papere is located at the feet of one of Tuscany’s many rolling hills, this however doesn’t seem to hinder a gentle breeze to refresh its guests on a hot summer night.
The friendly waiting staff is top notch, a level matched by their outstanding chef who manages to create simple yet interesting and innovative Italian dishes. The sommelier, Daniele if I remember correctly, matches these plates with tasty regional wines.
I highly recommend the ‘terra’ tasting menu. If à la carte is more desirable, the pici and squid dishes are a must.
Will return!

Daniele and his staff provided top notch service, attention to detail, and great wine pairing suggestions. The tasting menu was a treat that all should try. Big thank you to the chef and the kitchen staff. Already looking forward to the next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had one of the best dishes of my life here. In fact, with the first bite I knew this would be the dish I would request as my final meal before I die if I could choose. The white truffle tagliolini. Perfectly al dente, a mind blowingly balanced butter sauce, plus the freshest white truffle you can find. This place deserves 3 Michelin stars for this one dish alone. And they allow dogs. Definitely worth a special trip just for this place. Thank you so much to the friendly Facebook person who recommended this restaurant to us. If someone asked what the best part of our honeymoon was, I’d probably say this plate of pasta. 100000000 stars!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buonissimo! Excellent. We have been twice, and the food and service was superb on both occasions. Full even on a Monday, you should make a reservation. My choices last night, Rotolo di coniglio for antipasto, cotteletto di agnello for secondi potato, melt in the mouth delicious. 3 courses and a bottle of wine for 2 was under 100eu, and for what we got, is very good value. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

The tasting earth menu it’s a perfect mix of local dishes but made in a modern way.
Very good wine selection alongside a very good mâitre which suggested a us a wonderful atypical Pinot noir (Ventisei of Rio).
