Molte vie ben mantenute, ottimo granito. Illuminato anche di sera. Spettacolare il settore a picco sul lago. Da provare! Crag without approach, along a pedestrian road that runs along the lake, equipped with refreshment and clean bathroom, picnic area with comfortable bins for the dustbin and wonderful lake view. Many well maintained routes, excellent granite. Illuminated even in the evening. The sector overlooking the lake is spectacular. To try!

Orientamento Sud-Ovest. l'ambiente è molto addomesticato e non c'è avvicinamento. la falesia si trova all'esterno della galleria di Maccagno dove passa una vecchia strada. Ottima per provare ed esercitare l'arrampicata su granito. Chiodatura buona e presenza anche di molti di tiri facili. Non adatta per chi vuole passare del tempo tranquillo nella natura: spesso è frequentata anche da passanti curiosi. Adatta per un arrampicatina in relax. beautiful granite cliff overlooking Lake Maggiore. South-West orientation. the environment is very tame and there is no approach. the cliff is located outside the Maccagno tunnel where an old road passes. Excellent for trying and practicing granite climbing. Good bolting and also many easy pitches. Not suitable for those who want to spend quiet time in nature: it is often also frequented by curious passers-by. Suitable for a relaxing climb.

La vera bellezza, tuttavia, è data dal paesaggio fronte-lago (falesie rivolte a Sud), e, soprattutto, dalla gestione del punto ristoro, affidata al simpaticissimo e attento Bernard ed alla sua gentile signora. Ideale come sosta anche per chi non pratica roccia. Luogo impagabile, soprattutto in Primavera o in bassa stagione! Truly idyllic corner ... The rock routes are pretty and, for the most part, modest (there are, however, challenging pitches). The real beauty, however, is given by the lakefront landscape (cliffs facing south), and, above all, by the management of the refreshment point, entrusted to the very nice and attentive Bernard and his kind lady. Ideal as a stop even for those who don't practice rock. A priceless place, especially in Spring or in the low season!

Le vie vanno dal quinto grado in sú, ma molti 5a nella parte accanto al muro artificiale sono molto semplici e adatti a chiunque arrampichi quarti gradi. Per l’accesso si può usare il parcheggio del paesino sotto. Crag with a beautiful view of Lake Maggiore and a nice little bar above the shore. The routes range from grade 5 upwards, but many 5a on the part next to the artificial wall are very simple and suitable for anyone who climbs fourth grades. For access, you can use the car park in the village below.

Le difficoltà variano in base al settore, peccato che in alcuni punti della parete la roccia sia molto sporca e ricoperta da muschio. Very easy access from the main road (finding a parking spot can be hard, though) and plenty of single pitch routes plus a couple of two pitches routes. In summer it gets VERY hot and you must either climb very early in the morning or late in the evening. Rest of the day better to lay down next to the lake. Grills for barbecue are available

P	Paul Hutchinson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was recommended by a local for its views, and rightly so - it's stunning. The beer is draught and cheap and the staff pleasant, glad to have visited. Fyi it's cash only so bring some! You can climb up some well built stairs from the docks that are not marked on Google maps, don't go up the stone stairs as they're a bit dodgy.
