★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piccolo circolo Acli nel piccolo borgo di Cadero (fraz. Maccagno) offre un buon caffè, bibite fresche e gelati confezionati. Atmosfera semplice, cordiale la signora al banco, e' un luogo di ritrovo per i pochi residenti. Alcuni tavolini all'esterno rendono piacevole la sosta. Prezzi assolutamente modici. Molto carino il paesino che conta qualche decina di abitanti e che, come per altri borghi nel varesotto, ha puntato sull'arte per incrementare il turismo cercando così di evitare il completo abbandono. Sito in una bellissima posizione, con vista sul lago Maggiore, Cadero offre spettacolari tramonti ed un fantastico "foliage" autunnale. Inoltre, sparsi nelle sue stradine, si possono ammirare i mosaici, realizzati da artisti in collaborazione con il museo S. Giulia di Brescia. Per chi volesse visitare Cadero, attenzione alla strada di accesso da Maccagno, molto stretta e a tornanti, parcheggio davanti alla Chiesa.
Small circle Acli in the small village of Cadero (fraz. Maccagno) offers a good coffee, fresh drinks and packaged ice creams. Simple atmosphere, friendly lady at the counter, is a meeting place for the few residents. Some tables outside make the stay pleasant. Absolutely reasonable prices. Very nice the village that has a few dozen inhabitants and that, as for other villages in the Varese area, has focused on art to increase tourism trying to avoid complete abandonment. Set in a beautiful location, overlooking Lake Maggiore, Cadero offers spectacular sunsets and a fantastic autumn "foliage". Moreover, scattered in its narrow streets, one can admire the mosaics, made by artists in collaboration with the S. Giulia museum in Brescia. For those wishing to visit Cadero, pay attention to the access road from Maccagno, very narrow and winding, parking in front of the Church.
