★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es ist ein etwas altbackener, aber eigentlich gut sortierter Supermarkt auf zwei Etagen mit allem Notwendigen für den täglichen Bedarf. Die Metzgerei hat sehr gute und frische Fleisch- und Wurstprodukte als auch Antipasti. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Preislich liegt er über den Discountern und Supermärkten in Luino, aber es entsteht nicht der Eindruck, dass der Markt überteuert erscheint. Es ist der einzige Supermarkt in Maccagno. Für kleinere Einkäufe ok, für Großeinkäufe fährt man besser nach Luino.
 It's a somewhat old-fashioned, but actually well-stocked supermarket on two floors with everything you need for daily needs. The butcher's shop has very good and fresh meat and sausage products as well as antipasti. The staff is very friendly. In terms of price, it is higher than the discounters and supermarkets in Luino, but it does not give the impression that the market appears overpriced. It is the only supermarket in Maccagno. For small purchases ok, for bulk purchases you better go to Luino.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Su google gli orari indicano come orario di chiusura le 19.30 mentre una volta entrata nel negozio, alle 18 e 50, un commesso tronfio ma scocciato, borbotta commenti offensivi nei confronti dei clienti appena entrati. Esperienza conclusa.
On google the hours indicate the closing time at 19.30 while once inside the shop, at 18.50, a pompous but annoyed salesman mumbles offensive comments towards customers who have just entered. Experience ended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very old / worn down supermarket (UNES). This is the only supermarket in Maccagno. I think that is why they can afford no change in 8 years.... Prices are moderate to high. You can get much cheaper and better groceries in the (new) supermarket Lidl in Luino. It is a bit of a drive, but when you need to buy a bit more (around €100+) you can save a bit, as the prices at Lidl are around 25% lower for many items.
Still, if you are in Maccagno, do not have a car, and you need groceries, this is the only supermarket you can go to.
