Nice location with poor service, a low quality of food and high prices

Sooo baaaad food!!! We wanted saw this beautiful restaurant directly on the lake. Food was absolutly bad. We had insects in all salads...

Worst restaurant ive ever eaten. Food completely tasteless, oily, overpriced. The inside of the restaurant is disgusting.

Pizza Margherita was dull, tasteless. Nudels tasted simply bad. We let everything go back. Waiter even did not ask if everything was ok. And finally they brought us the wrong bill.

Absolute worst place we have ever been to in Cannobio in 4 years. The absolute worst restaurant we have visited in Cannobio ever in 4 years. Extremely arrogant and as far from service-minded that can be. Here's a short re-cap: 1) order drinks for the complete family and our son orders a Coke Zero and gets a regular one. When we point this out, we are met with a big sigh, like it's the biggest problem in the world just to get the correct thing. 2) we order 4 things to eat, 2 x pizzas, 1 x burger and 1 x canneloni with spinach. The burger comes in first, then 2 minutes later, the two pizzas, but one of them is wrong. Point this out and again a big sigh, like it's our fault. New pizza arrives after 5 minutes. 3) The canneloni arrives 15 minutes after the burger and is so hot it's not eatable for another 10 minutes. When this is pointed out to the staff, they say they cannot bring the food at the same time, because it comes from two different kitchens... Duh... in that case, you point that out before a full family orders so that we'd have the choice of *NOT* eating there and choose a place that actually delivers all food at the same time. Finally, when saying that we should not pay for the canneloni they say they will deduct it from the bill. Of course they haven't done so when the bill comes. We deduct it ourselves and pay less than stated and walk out of there. The owner then comes running and screaming "you eat - you pay - you eat - you pay". 100% idiot and moron... of course we had to eat it when it actually came, what should we have done, gone to another restaurant and ordered for one person, when three of us had already eaten. I would not recommend this place to anyone *ever* - complete waste of time and money. And obviously the most irritating point is the unwillingness to NOT make things right...

Ceasar salad was little more than a bit of green lettuce with tomate and little chicken, no dressing, no cheese. The pizza average. It was not cheap. Apparently the kitchen is shared with the hotel (but different menu), so the hotel might serve also very average menus

We spent a really good time in this restaurant. I loved the decoration on the terrasse like "champetre" with the view on the sea. We ate great pizza with delicious spritz. Waitress was nice . Good service I recommend this restaurant with honest price!

The waitress, who was probably the owner of the place, was quite grumpy. The scenery was nice so we decided to eat anyway and ordered pizzas. The pizzas were dry and burnt. When we got the cheque, there was an additional 4 euros for cover even though we didn't get any bread or anything other than the pizzas. (The waitress explained that the 4 euros was for the cutlery.) Will certainly not visit again.
