★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible airport. It's small, overcrowded, it doesn't have enough seats near gates, and the gastronomy services are equally bad. The only positive side is a good train connection to Palermo.
If the airport is so crowded in April, then it's hard to imagine what happens here in the summer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most pathetic duty-free selection I’ve ever seen…and I’ve seen some trash ones. Bizarre order/layout of the airport generally…staff and security were pleasant enough but this airport reminds me of flying in the 1990’s. Didn’t even check the liter of opened water I brought through security. Glad it wasn’t full of petrol or…?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Around 10/12 security staff standing around chatting and not engaging or noticing passengers. Some who needed assistance. While going through security, they were letting everyone walk through the body screeners then leaving all bags on the ramps before the baggage x-ray machine and making people walk back through to push their bags through the x-ray scanner. Obviously it was too much trouble for them to assist and simply slide the bags through, after letting us proceed! Not our fault. Customer service training needed, urgently.

No toilet seats, one terrible restaurant with cold cappuccinos, not enough seating.

Rammed when I was passing through. The two main food outlets had queues not worth tackling. The staff were standard airport staff no real complaints. I got the fast pass but it only works on the security screening. Before you get there There is a large queue (moved reasonably quickly) I’d say it’s probably just about worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ a very very long waiting long in the security. The sNot speaking englishecurity man is not that smart. Not speaking english but screaming hoping the tourists understand. In the general language, I would call him an idi**! Nothins special about this airport. What a shame for the staffs that can't speak english but working in the international airport. Shame shame!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ COVID-19 test center for mandatory tests at the airport only opens at 8am. There is no time schedule available (online or at the door of the center) to let passengers know about opening hours. We‘ve now waited more than 1.5h in the cold outside of the test center and will have a challenge still making it to our flight.
