★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Condivido la mia "esperienza": dopo aver prenotato dal loro sito per una notte ad una cifra tra l'altro non trascurabile, ci presentiamo, io e la mia ragazza, poco dopo le 13, così dopo aver suonato il campanello per un buon quarto d'ora senza risposta (si sentiva persino dalla strada!), scegliamo di andare a mangiare.
Decido nel frattempo di scrivere una mail alla quale finalmente ho risposta, prendendo accordi per il check in verso le 15.
Ci presentiamo infine alla struttura per sentirci dire, dopo mezza giornata a vagare carichi di valigie e sotto un sole cocente, che la stanza non è disponibile perché Booking ha commesso un errore di coordinamento con il sito e la nostra stanza è già stata occupata. La soluzione propostaci in maniera piuttosto rude è stata la stanza di qualche bambino con ancora giochi sul pavimento e pupazzi sul letto...a 150€.
Ora: il problema dell'overbooking era evitabile, ma ammesso e non concesso l'errore tecnico, bastava una mail o una telefonata per disdire la prenotazione prima di farci arrivare al portone per poi non aprirci nemmeno. In secondo luogo, la stanza dei giochi a 150€ a notte oltre ad essere un tantino cara, l'ho trovata davvero poco professionale: avendo avuto tutto il tempo finché noi eravamo via a mangiare, sarebbe stato meglio farcela vedere almeno pulita e riassettata. Inutile dire che ce ne siamo andati.
Conclusione: esattamente alla porta a fianco abbiamo finalmente trovato un albergo serio, che fortunatamente ci ha accolti e trattati con tutti i riguardi.
I share my "experience": after booking from their site for a night at a not inconsiderable amount, my girlfriend and I introduce ourselves shortly after 1pm, so after ringing the bell for a good quarter from now without an answer (you could even hear it from the street!), we choose to go and eat.
In the meantime, I decide to write an email to which I finally have an answer, making arrangements for check in around 3 pm.
Finally, we introduce ourselves to the structure to be told, after half a day of wandering loads of suitcases and under a scorching sun, that the room is not available because Booking has made a coordination error with the site and our room has already been occupied. The solution proposed to us in a rather rude way was the room of some children with still games on the floor and puppets on the bed ... for 150 €.
Now: the problem of overbooking was avoidable, but admitted and not granted the technical error, an email or a phone call was enough to cancel the reservation before making us arrive at the door and then not even open. Secondly, the games room at € 150 per night, besides being a little expensive, I found it really unprofessional: having had all the time while we were away to eat, it would have been better to show it to us at least clean and tidied up. Needless to say, we left.
Conclusion: exactly at the next door we finally found a serious hotel, which fortunately welcomed us and treated us with all respect.
