Am Eingang (Porta Fiorentina) ein Café oder Eis und dann die Stadt erkunden. Klein aber fein, so wie ich es liebe. Mit ein klein wenig italienisch kommt man auch ins Gespräch mit einer Italienerin oder Italiener. Regelmäßig sind Feste, Märkte oder Feiern in der Stadt. Die Gemeinde organisieren die meisten Feste selber. Die Stadtbewohner packen an und helfen. Hier leben noch viele in der Stadt. Kleine private Unterkünfte. Unpersönliche Luxushotels gibt es wo anders. The beautiful way from the train station to here is an experience. Short route, varied and not too steep. Nel giardino fuori porta si tiene ogni mese un interessante mercatino antiquario. Località da visitare. Climb the tower on the hill top and get some stunning views. Tie in with a visit to Cortona or Lago Tressimo. Both are not far.
