★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tour began 40 minutes late which caused us to miss our dinner reservation. No wine along the way. Tour was conducted in two languages. Tasting at the end was rushed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this beautiful estate with my family in June. After paying for a tour and a five-course meal, my family placed several individual orders of wine to be shipped to us in the US. When my shipment didn't arrive I contacted Pier, the winery sales manager to see what the problem was. He admitted although my credit card had been charged, he never processed my order and now couldn't guarantee delivery by the time I requested. I asked him to cancel my order and refund my money. He complied (or so he said) and told me my refund would be processed within the week. Every time I contacted him after that, he had excuse after excuse to why my refund had not been processed. He even offered to send my original order of wine to me for free for the inconvenience. Neither the refund nor the wine was ever received and Barrachi stopped responding to my inquiries. Beware of these liars and thieves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hated it, a terrible experience. The sommelier Giuseppe refused to let us taste a flight of wines “because it’s a weekend” so we bought two bottles instead. Later, he “forgot” to bring us some hot water for the six month year old baby we had with us. We asked him why he became a sommelier and replied that he “really had no answer.” He was slow, disagreeable and rude. Suffice to say, we departed without buying any cases of the baracchi product. Cannot recommend this winery in earnest, as he will likely be your server. Many of the other staff were lovely and it was a pretty ambiance, the sommelier just really ruined it for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not place an international order for wine delivery. We ordered wine to be shipped to the US after our trip and paid 100 euros for shipping costs. When the wine showed up, UPS stated the winery didn’t pay the full shipping fee and we owed almost $300 dollars for shipping. When I contacted the winery, they said I needed to pay the amount to receive the shipment and refused to refund any money. Very rude customer service.
