★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il palazzo Gio. Battista Spinola o anche denominato Andrea e Gio. Batta Spinola , commissionato dai 2 fratelli Gio. Battista e Andrea , fu edificato tra il 1563 e il 1567 e passò nel 1723 alla famiglia Doria , che ancora lo possiede ; tra il 1791 e il 1797 venne sopraelevato di un piano e fu rimodellata pure la facciata con le attuali decorazioni in stucco ; si possono visitare solo l'atrio , il cortile e le scale ; nell'atrio dal soffitto scende una bella e grande lanterna , sormontata da un'aquila , che compare nello stemma della famiglia ; è situato nella meravigliosa via Garibaldi al civico 6 .
The Gio. Battista Spinola palace or also called Andrea and Gio. Batta Spinola, commissioned by the two brothers Gio. Battista and Andrea, was built between 1563 and 1567 and passed in 1723 to the Doria family, who still owns it; between 1791 and 1797 it was raised to a level and the façade was also remodeled with the current stucco decorations; you can only visit the atrium, the courtyard and the stairs; in the atrium from the ceiling a beautiful and large lantern descends, surmounted by an eagle, which appears in the coat of arms of the family; is located in the wonderful Via Garibaldi at number 6.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È uno dei 42 palazzi dei "rolli" ( palazzi destinati a ricevere papi, imperatori ed alti funzionari..), patrimonio dell'umanità e protetti dell'UNESCO.
Costruito nel 1563 per i nobili Spinola,
( diversi gli affreschi e gli arazzi che ricordano le gesta della famiglia..) e diventarono poi, di proprietà dei Doria ( già all'ingresso, spicca l'aquila, simbolo araldico, appunto, dei Doria).
Magnifico il salone principale, con uno stupendo camino monumentale.
It is one of the 42 palazzi dei "rolli" (palaces destined to receive popes, emperors and high officials ..), a world heritage site and protected by UNESCO.
Built in 1563 for the Spinola nobles,
(several frescoes and tapestries recalling the exploits of the family ..) and later became the property of the Dorias (already at the entrance, the eagle stands out, a heraldic symbol, in fact, of the Dorias).
The main hall is magnificent, with a stupendous monumental fireplace.
