★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Risale al XVI secolo l'inizio della costruzione di questa dimora riferibile ad una delle più importanti famiglie ortesi che ha annoverato: medici, ecclesiastici, avvocati e uomini di cultura.
Monumentale la facciata con il caratteristico cornicione del tetto dalla forma "a guscio" ed il portale in bugnato costruito il secolo successivo. Ma stupefacenti dovevano essere gli affreschi che ricoprivano tutta la facciata e dei quali rimangono purtroppo pochi resti che - a mio parere - i proprietari dovrebbero cercare di salvare prima dell'irreparabile.
Bellissimo anche il giardino all'italiana utilizzato saltuariamente come scenario per matrimoni. Peccato che il palazzo non sia altrimenti visitabile.
The construction of this dwelling dates back to the 16th century, referring to one of the most important orthotic families that it included: doctors, ecclesiastics, lawyers and men of culture.
The façade with the characteristic "shell" shaped cornice of the roof and the ashlar portal built the following century is monumental. But the frescos that covered the whole facade must have been amazing and of which unfortunately few remnants remain that - in my opinion - the owners should try to save before the irreparable.
Beautiful also the Italian garden used occasionally as a setting for weddings. Too bad that the building cannot be visited otherwise.
