Due passaggi su corridoi sostenuti da arco attraversano superiormente la via e collegano il palazzo prima con la Torre De Cantone, poi, tramite la Torre stessa, con la Chiesa di San Nicola permettendo così alle ospiti del palazzo di recarsi a messa senza scendere in strada.
 The palace, heavily remodeled in the sixteenth century, was used by the "widows" of Casa Medici. Two passages on corridors supported by an arch cross the street at the top and connect the building first with the Torre De Cantone, then, through the tower itself, with the Church of San Nicola thus allowing guests of the palace to go to mass without going down the street.
