★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poprio all'inizio del Prato della Valle si trova il quattrocentesco Palazzo Angeli: la struttura, un edificio a tre arcate, venne edificato come residenza del cardinale Bessarione nel corso del XV secolo. In seguito fu dimora di Andrea Memmo, Procuratore di San Marco, e responsabile della trasformazione e della bonifica di Prato della Valle. Probabilmente l'amico Giacomo Casanova fu suo ospite; dalle finestre di questo Palazzo Giovanni Antonio Canal, meglio conosciuto come il Canaletto, creò una veduta panoramica del prato di fronte, verso la metà del Settecento, servendosi di una camera oscura.Ospita dal 1998 il "Museo del Precinema Collezione Minici Zotti" dove sono esposte numerose lanterne magiche, vetri per la proiezione dipinti a mano, un antico teatro di ombre giavanese. Un settore è dedicato alla fotografia ed alla stereoscopia.sono inoltrepresenti alcuni apparecchi ottici riprodotti fedelmente che permettono al visitatore di fruirne di persona.
Poprio at the beginning of Prato della Valle is the fifteenth-century Palazzo Angeli: the structure, a building with three arches, was built as the residence of Cardinal Bessarione during the fifteenth century. Later it was the home of Andrea Memmo, Procurator of San Marco, and responsible for the transformation and reclamation of Prato della Valle. Probably his friend Giacomo Casanova was his guest; from the windows of this Palazzo Giovanni Antonio Canal, better known as the Canaletto, created a panoramic view of the lawn opposite, towards the middle of the eighteenth century, using a dark room. Since 1998 it has housed the "Museo del Precinema Collezione Minici Zotti" where numerous magic lanterns on display, hand-painted glass for projection, an ancient Javanese shadow theater. A sector is dedicated to photography and stereoscopy. There are also some faithfully reproduced optical devices that allow the visitor to use them in person.
