Una tappa obbligatoria di quando si viene in visita a Padova ed in particolare alla Basilica di Sant'Antonio. Fortemente suggerito lo consiglio vivamente. An extremely positive experience visiting the Antoniano museum. It retraces the entire life of Saint Anthony. An obligatory stop when visiting Padua and in particular the Basilica of Sant'Antonio. Strongly suggested I highly recommend it.

Di particolare rilievo alcune opere di Tiepolo e dei Vecellio oltre che i gessi di Donatello, a cui è dedicata un'intera sezione. Per i fedeli può essere interessante visitare anche il settore dedicato alla Devozione Popolare, incentrato sui miracoli di Sant'Antonio. Interesting collection of works of art and today sacred mostly related to the Basilica and Sant'Antonio. Of particular note are some works by Tiepolo and Vecellio as well as the plaster casts by Donatello, to whom an entire section is dedicated. For the faithful it may also be interesting to visit the sector dedicated to Popular Devotion, focused on the miracles of Saint Anthony.

Opere di elevato valore artistico, tra cui numerosi oggetti e paramenti sacri e alcune pale d'altare di eccezionale importanza. Tra queste vanno segnalate, in particolare, quella di Giambattista Tiepolo raffigurante il Martirio di Sant'Agata, e quella di Giacomo Ceruti con il Battesimo di Santa Giustina, rara opera sacra dell'autore (meglio noto con il nome di Pitocchetto). Non eccellente l'allestimento, che sacrifica le grandi pale d'altare in uno spazio piuttosto stretto che non permette di apprezzarle come si dovrebbe. Il museo andrebbe inoltre meglio pubblicizzato, perché le opere esposte sono di grande pregio e meriterebbero di essere viste di più. Consiglio vivamente di visitarlo, perché non è assolutamente un museo "minore", ma solo poco conosciuto. Nice museum housed in the convent complex of the Basilica of Sant'Antonio. Among these we should mention, in particular, that of Giambattista Tiepolo depicting the Martyrdom of Sant'Agata, and that of Giacomo Ceruti with the Baptism of Santa Giustina, a rare sacred work of the author (better known by the name of Pitocchetto). The setting is not excellent, which sacrifices the large altarpieces in a rather narrow space that does not allow you to appreciate them as they should. The museum should also be better advertised, because the exhibited works are of great value and deserve to be seen more. I highly recommend visiting it, because it is absolutely not a "minor" museum, but only little known.

In oltre una sala è dedicata alle offerte dedicate al Santo. Per accedere al museo si deve pagare un biglietto di sette euro che ti da la possibilità di visitare anche l'oratorio di San Giorgio con i suoi dipinti del 300 e la scoletta. Consigliato. Splendid museum of the Basilica of Sant'Antonio, inside there are bishop's robes, reliquaries, sacred images and statues of the saint. To access the museum you have to pay a ticket of seven euros which gives you the opportunity to visit the oratory of San Giorgio with its 14th century paintings and the scoletta. Recommended.
