★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recentemente riaperto al pubblico dopo due anni di restauri, l'oratorio è l'ennesimo gioiello della Padova Urbs Picta. Gli affreschi di Jacopo da Verona richiamano sia Giotto sia Altichiero. Visitabile tutte le mattine tranne il lunedì, il pomeriggio solo sabato e domenica. È facilmente reperibile perché si trova dall'altra parte del naviglio rispetto alla Torre della Specola.
Recently reopened to the public after two years of restoration, the oratory is yet another jewel of the Padua Urbs Picta. The frescoes by Jacopo da Verona recall both Giotto and Altichiero. It can be visited every morning except Monday, in the afternoon only on Saturday and Sunday. It is easily found because it is located on the other side of the canal from the Torre della Specola.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pessima gestione. Nonostante avessimo telefonato per avere conferma dell'orario di apertura, l'oratorio, stamattina, Martedì, non era aperto. Abbiamo aspettato fino alle 10,30, ma non abbiamo potuto effettuare la visita. Peccato.
Bad management. Although we had phoned to confirm the opening hours, this morning, Tuesday, the oratory was not open. We waited until 10.30, but we couldn't make the visit. Pity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Con un biglietto di 3 euro si può visitare l'oratorio dedicato a San Michile che è quanto rimane dell'antica chiesa di epoca bizantina dedicata ai Santi Arcangeli compromessa da un incendio nel 1390. Venne rifatta la cappella dedicata a Santa Maria e nel 1390 venne incaricato il pittore Jacopo da Verona di decorarla. Tra i dipinti spicca l'Arcangelo con la bilancia per pesare le anime e il dipinto della Natività e l'adorazione dei Magi.
With a 3 euro ticket you can visit the oratory dedicated to St. the painter Jacopo da Verona was commissioned to decorate it. Among the paintings stands out the Archangel with the balance to weigh souls and the painting of the Nativity and the adoration of the Magi.
