★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uno dei più belle dimore rinascimentali dei principi romani. Sede di alcune banche è difficilmente visitabile nella sua magnificenza. Ma rende immediatamente conto della grandezza soprattutto culturale espressa in quel periodo, dal pensiero corrente, che impegnava anche i nobili ad onorarne l'espressione ovunque eccellesse.
 One of the most beautiful Renaissance residences of the Roman princes. Seat of some banks, it is difficult to visit in its magnificence. But it immediately realizes the above all cultural greatness expressed in that period, by current thinking, which also committed the nobles to honor its expression wherever it excelled.

Gli Altieri furono una delle famiglie più importanti di Roma nel XVII secolo, che vantava origini dalla nobiltà dell'antica Roma, anche se improbabile. Il personaggio più illustre fu Clemente X che fu papa dal 1670 al 1676.
Palazzo Altieri is a palace in Rome, residence of the Altieri family. The facade is located in Piazza del Gesù, next to the Gesù church and in front of Palazzo Cenci-Bolognetti.
The Altieri were one of the most important families of Rome in the seventeenth century, which had origins from the nobility of ancient Rome, although unlikely. The most illustrious figure was Clement X who was pope from 1670 to 1676.
