β β β β β We came here with high hopes, but were rather let down. I had the pasta with mussels, and though the mussels were good I found the pasta rather bland. For the 2nd plate (the lunch deal has 2 βmainsβ + water + wine for 15 euros), my pork was ok. My friendβs sea bass (2nd plate) tasted unappetizingly off, though my other friendβs salmon was quite good. While the lunch deal is a good deal, we found the quality of food rather inconsistent.

β β β β β This restaurant is recommended by the B & B we stayed in just around the corner. We were not disappointed. We wanted seafood, and that is about all that they serve. We had a spicy octopus starter that was one of the most unusual dishes we have had had in Italy. It was delicious. The tagliatelle with a pistachio pesto and prawns was done perfectly and had an amazing flavor. The mixed seafood grill was delicious. The portions were huge, especially by European standards. The good news is that the huge portions did not in any way take away from the quality or flavor of the dishes. Note that they did not have any meat on the menu the night we were there. Also, the menu is written on a chalk board, and it appears to change from time-to-time.
This is not a large place, maybe a total of 25 seats. While others have recommended reservations, the night we were there, there were at most 9 people there.

β β β β β We sat here today as we wanted to have coffee, water and possibly a dessert at 12:30 and we got an answer from the waitress that "this is not a bar, so you can't just have a drink". Let me just mention that there were 5 empty tables outside at that time. If the owner prefers to have 0 customers comparing to 1 that might bring something in, that's fine by me, but definitely a place I won't be coming back to.

β β β β β The food was average but the service was really bad. We arrived early in the evening and thought we were the first costumers when in fact we were the only costumers for that evening. Even so, the staff seemed quite disturbed by our presence, being too busy chatting rather taking our order or giving little explanations about the menu. Inside it was a freezing temperature, similar to the one outside (late november).
As mentioned before, the food was average, nothing special...nothing to return for.
