★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I gave them 3 stars because the staff was really polite but unfortunately, the food was a bit disgusting or the least the king prawns which were almost rotten but on the menu, this dish was presented as ”fresh seafood on the grill”. Somehow I can understand that are really difficult times for them after the pandemic but it's such a pity that this restaurant is just across the port of Genova.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really enjoyed this restaurant. Most diners seemed to be local. The waiters will fill up tables by placing together people who arrive alone. The owner walks around checking to make sure everyone is happy. As he saw me waiting for my dinner without an antipasto he brought over a glass of Prosecco! I ate the grilled mixed fish which was very good and plenty of food. Traditional and unpretentious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found this restaurant totally by luck. Our flight was cancelled and airline sent us to a 3 star hotel at the down town. Hotel gave us meal deal with this restaurant for our compensation. They provide us what is called Tourist Menu which has first dish, second dish, salad (or fried potato) and 1 large glass wine (Normal price was 14 euro per person, we did not pay anything because it was included to Hotel's meal deal). Foods were very simple but very tasty. All foods are local Italian dishes. Decoration makes you feel like in an Italian movie because decorations are old style. Staf does not speak very good english, but they are friendly and kind, there is good internet connection in the restaurant so even if you dont have mobile internet you can connect and check the food from Google and use translation if needed. If you are visiting Genoa and want to taste some local original Italian food, we definitely advice this location. Finally, in a weekend, you might need to do reservation as it was full at a Tuesday Night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you find the place you've been searching for and didn't know it, then you finally know what you were searching for. That's the feeling in this wonderful restaurant where even when super busy the staff is super friendly. Hands down the best food we've experienced so far in Italy. Seriously, read my other reviews and you'll know I don't mix words.
For primeri, my wife had the fried mixed seafood and I had the mussels in white wine sauce to start. For secondi, we shared seabass, fries and a salad. Every bite delicious. My highest recommendation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a really nice, unpretentious and authentic restaurant eight on the main drag toward the city centre. They offer a €15 lunch menu with primo, secondo, contorno with wine and water. The trofie al pesto were amazing, as was the veal carpaccio. I really did like their house white as well. I would definitely make this a stop along a busy day, whether at work or simply visiting.
