★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderful experience. Right near all the tourists but they seem oblivious as it's filled with Sicilians and sometimes their families. If recommend specific dishes but everything we are was a daily special. Whatever you order is likely to be home style but professionally prepared comfort food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing dinner! The host is incredibly welcoming. The Donna fugata was pure bliss and the food.. It would be hard to pick which one we liked the most! The carpaccio with fiori di zucca was truly good, and my 1st dish the pasta alla bottarga was TOP. I tried a little of the risotto as well and still would do the bottarga.. :) overall a really great experience will surely repeat when we're in Taormina next!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommended by our hotel and it was excellent. Seasonal menu offering a variety of original dishes. For starters I had inocchi with clams, guanciale and asparagus and it was a delicious combination. My wife also enjoyed her pasta with bottarga, which we were informed is freshly prepared at the restaurant. Beef fillet with a creamy pistachio sauce was super tender. Desserts, millefeuille with chantilly cream was also delicious. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Taormina.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Personally a big fan of this restaurant. We were here twice so ima combine my reviews into one. Lunch was empty (why?) and dinner was full (so make them ressies).
Service - top. Full explanations of each dish, staff truly excited to explain each ingredient and why it fits their vision of local seasonal cooking. Also at one point they left the olive oil on the table for us and we went to town cause it’s so delicious ;)
Food - OMG. Fresh af and oh so delicious. The amberjack tartar with pineapple, lemon zest and fresh pineapple could be the star of the show. Perfectly paired with the Etna white they recommended. But then again there was the Nebrodi black swine ragu that hit harder then any ragu we were eating in the north. Hearty and flavourful with pasta that was cooked perfectly. Add that Etna red in there and you in heaven. We ate more stuff but dun wanna bore you with the details. It was good. Trust.
Just gonna add that our white chocolate mousse dessert nailed the sweetness level and the amaro selection was top (caper amaro what?).
Definitely recommend.
