★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little local place hidden away from the crowd. The food is always wonderful, but some portions aren't as big as they could be for the price. Try the potato skins! After your lunch or dinner, give the grappa box a try. Great service, and a quality dining experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have eaten here four times over the past 18 months and the quality of the food has been consistently good. They maintain an interesting collection of wines which are off the beaten track and those tried have been really great selections in terms of price/quality. Service can be patchy. Often there are only 2 people looking after the tables which can make service slow. However, as a restaurant catering largely for local clientele, this should not be a bother and visitors need to learn to go with the flow. It is worth watching the billing as have been charged for more than was ordered. If looking for an authentic local restaurant with quality food and local charm at a reasonable price, this is a good bet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent restaurant. One of the best meals I have had in Rome. We live nearby so it’s our neighborhood. Very few if any tourists here. Wait service is attentive and the food and selection is outstanding. The restaurant indoors is very attractive. If you are looking for an upscale Roman experience away from the centro storico tourist places hard to go wrong here. Note the restaurant menu is in Italian with English translations. Bon Appetito!
