★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited this restaurant as the online rating was high, 4.6. Whilst the interior is nice and the staff are nice and friendly, the food was really really bad. The food was not fresh nor tasty. There are plenty of other places to eat in Venice so unless it's a do or die I'd recommend avoid this one at all costs. Very odd that the reviews are all really good and all have photos which does not seem to be the case with other osterias, makes me wonder whether they are real or paid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend! Cozy place with domestic atmosphere and delicious food! Great taste for average prices. The staff is great and friendly, excellent service! They even modified their pasta according to my preferences (which was not on the menu). It truly deserves to be in the Michelin guide.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came due to the high ratings on Google but were disappointed in the end.
2.50 euro cover charge per person (not service charge) for hard, close to stale, bread.
We enjoyed the mixed Adriatic seafood plate 5/5 but wish they had explained to us what each item on the plate was, some of them it was not obvious.
We waited 30 min for our pasta course afterwards which was way too long. Had the squid ink pasta 3.5/5 average tasting and black ravioli 3/5 -- ravioli shape inconsistent, pasta shell was hard, inside filling bland. 4 pieces of ravioli given which would not be filling as a meal by itself. It took so long for our food, we decided not to get dessert.
The wait staff was very friendly, but will not be returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Five years ago, we stumbled upon this place and loved our first meal. So much so that we went back two more times before the end of our trip.
Fast forward to today, the place still has its charm and serves one of the best pasta in the neighborhood. The service is great, the staff is hardworking, and the food is excellent.
We are frequent travelers to Venice. This place will continue to be on our list of osterie in which to dine!
