★ ★ ★ ★ ★ That is exactly what we were looking for, amazing food, great portion and good price, at the hearth of Verona!! PS: Dining in front of Romeo’s house.
No doubt, go for it!! I had Penne Romeo and Spadellata di Cavallo con Polenta, very typical dishes from the north of Italy, both costed €20, well served!
If you don’t have a booking, arrive there around 7pm, otherwise you won’t get a table, place is very busy afterwards (cos that is very good indeed!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is located just near the Romeo's House, looks quite historic and old(in a good way).
Course 1: This Bigoli is al dente cooked, minced horse meat is well seasoned and matches perfectly with noodles.
Course 2: Calf meat is a little too dry but quite tender, the sauce hat nicely strong flavour and got absorbed from the mushrooms and make the mushrooms more delicious than the meat ?
The price( Menu 20€) is okay in this place and the foods have good quality. The service is also attentive. Can give a try:)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our best meal in Verona! We arrived for lunch and were the first one’s in the place. They welcomed us like we were family. My wife ordered a salad with carrot, olives, tomato, rocket, and buffalo mozzarella. Her primo piatto was penne with gorgonzola and radicchio. Delicious. I ordered a penne pasta arrabbiata, and a primo of polenta with fungi, gorgonzola, and salame. With a mezza litre of bianco and frizzante (55euro). Grazie mille. Speriamo di tornarci.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very intuitive dinner menu. 20€ for first a pasta or soup and then a main course. The fresh pasta was amazing. The main course are all specialties from the region, also very good. Vegetarian options for both pasta and main dish available. Vitello tonato is very nice. Desserts are good, service is friendly. Would recommend to reserve spot, on friday evening all tables were full.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a traditional restaurant where local people usually visit. All dishes were in general ok and portions were big enough. We tried horse meat which was cooked slowly in low fire and we found it not extraordinary perfect but it was good. Nice place to visit if you want to try also something different.

Service was great, “happy” and kind.
Strait forward menu, good price and good portions. What else do you need?? ?
On google this restaurant is tagged as fancy and expensive, I think is a very family oriented and fair priced restaurant!
I would highly recommend all my family and friends to come here.
