Cozy osteria with simple but good food at reasonable prices.

A nice, home style bistro with lovely service and reasonable prices. The lasagna and ravioli were incredible and unique. Sure the dish size wasn't big like in other countries, but its sufficient and the quality is amazing and totally worth it.

My boyfriend and I had dinner here. The waitress was so friendly and happy. We both had the homemade lasagna, very tasty!

Osteria Sottoriva is an absolute gem that’s worth visiting if you’re ever in the area. I could tell how it holds an important spot in local people’s hearts too with the big personality and an even bigger heart that the owner Michela has. She has this rare ability to make everyone feel welcomed and heart-warmed instantly. Her smoked Pastissada de Caval (ancient horse meat stew) slow-cooked with Amarone and horse meatballs are the must-orders, which we certainly did and enjoyed every bit of them even with the daunting summer heat!

The food was very delicious and homemade. Although we had hoped for a larger portion. Service was great and very helpful.

Beautiful, traditional place with local food. The staff was amazing, they offered us the aperitivo even though there was no table available at this moment. They don't take reservations but will do everything to service you. Totally recommended.

Great food, typical Verona dishes, tried Lasagna mmm mama mia! Very cheesy which I like. Nice staff, I would give it a 5! Try also small meat balls for appetizer. P. S.: u wont find coffee there.

The food was very good here and we ate here twice. Relaxed, casual, atmospheric, with great service and a friendly staff. The place was full when we arrived for dinner, but we got a table. We sat under the portico outside in the candlelight. You order from a hand-written menu (always a good sign). My wife ordered an orzo salad. I ordered lasagna, which I have never ordered in all of our trips to Italy. Both of our meals were excellent. We drank a litre of bianco and took our time. The prices here are very reasonable. We came back the next day for lunch.
