F	FurnariSicilia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Discovered this restaurant yesterday while walking giudecca. We sat outside for drinks. Ordered 12 oysters which tasted as fresh as the ocean. They are Portugal Crassostrea angulata oysters. The staff is friendly and cordial. Since we were tired I went back last night for take out entrées. Had paccheri con pesce spada e melanzane . And spiedini alla gamberi con verdure. Both were outstanding. Today went back for lunch. Has a bottle of zenato ripassò with oysters and paccheri con carciofi. Delicious! Tonight ordered a pizza funghi e prosciutto crudo and insalata mista. All very good dishes. Will be back soon to Venezia and will visit this restaurant.

It's a good place to escape the crowds and have a conversation with a local if you're at the bar or with your server. From the trattoria, the view of Venice is nice.

Ate here today what drew us into the restaurant was their wide variety of pizzas on their menu the whole menu was mainly made up of pizzas only to be told they had no pizzas than! The food we did get was reheated dry and lacking only thing that didn’t lack was the price 70€ for a bare bit of lasagna and pasta and chicken nuggets and chips absolutely outrageous won’t renturn!

I mean honestly, and after days of tourist traps we felt relieved to land in an authentic setting. The entire experience we felt like we wholly found what we hoped for in venice; amongst endless tourist traps. The food was great, we found smokey and perfect al dente, egg rich noodle, subtle sauce, tender meatballs. Amongst other dishes, aged meats, fresh cheese; fair flavored and soft breads. Excellent house prosecco and great scenery and ambience. Period... The pricing was moderate, fair all things considered and the experience itself authentic in all senses. We were the only English speakers I could hear, and of course the staff accommodated speaking to us in our language. The staff were scrupulous in their attention as is usually the case in Italy.
