Conserva al suo interno, infatti, circa 140 sepolture, riconducibili ad una delle zone più significative della necropoli tardo classica ed ellenistica. Gli scavi effettuati hanno permesso di accertare una frequentazione del sito, prevalentemente per usi funerari, dalla fine del VII/prima metà del VI sec. a.C. fino al termine del III sec. a.C. L’area consente di iniziare, in maniera agevole, una visita all’interno della necropoli della città greca, il cui impianto subisce un notevole sviluppo a partire dalle vicende politiche del V sec. a.C., allorché si registra l’ampliamento dell’abitato con la costruzione della cinta muraria difensiva e l’organizzazione di un tessuto stradale regolare che si estende sino ad interessare anche la necropoli. In fact, it preserves around 140 burials, attributable to one of the most significant areas of the late classical and Hellenistic necropolis. The excavations carried out have made it possible to ascertain that the site was frequented, mainly for funerary purposes, from the end of the 7th / first half of the 6th century. The area allows you to easily start a visit inside the necropolis of the Greek city, whose structure underwent considerable development starting from the political events of the fifth century. Le guide sono state gentilissime e si sono dimostrate preparatissime. È stata una bellissima esperienza. Anche quando si sono verificati degli imprevisti, il personale è stato in grado di risolverli tempestivamente. Il prezzo poi è risultato giusto per i luoghi visitati. Una struttura castruita veramente tantissimi anni fa, con la Impossibilità di visionare l'interno data la mancanza di eventi, contatti e altro. Uno spreco assurdo. Come da foto lo stato della struttura è pietosamente mantenuto malissimo, anzi mi permetterei di dire che non è mantenuto per nulla. La manutenzione e la pulizia che si può scrutare tranquillamente dalle vetrate esterne è veramente pessima. Mi spiace che tale bellezza sia sprecata in tutto.
