Dopo una lunga scalinata che conduce alla facciata barocca, si accede all'interno che è stato abbellito dal Quattrocento in poi con tele e statue. Sul soffitto vi è una cupola, situata all'incrocio tra la navata centrale e il braccio trasversale. Vi è un organo a canne. I rintocchi della campana vengono eseguiti da Il Moro, un automa meccanico che con un martello segna il trascorrere delle ore. The parish church has a Latin cross plan with three naves. After a long staircase leading to the Baroque façade, you enter the interior which has been embellished from the 15th century onwards with paintings and statues. On the ceiling there is a dome, located at the intersection of the central nave and the transverse arm. There is a pipe organ. The tolling of the bell is performed by Il Moro, a mechanical automaton that with a hammer marks the passing of the hours.

Pietro ; è una delle più belle della città , circondata da edifici importanti e decorati ; si accede all'interno tramite un'imponente scalinata di marmo ed un bel portone intagliato , che con il portale da risalto alla facciata , alla cui sommità è stato posizionato un curioso baldacchino che protegge un 'Moro' , che , con un martello colpisce una campana e scandisce le ore dell'orologio sottostante e richiama l'attenzione dei passanti . The church of Saints Peter and Paul dates back to the end of the fifteenth century, is located in Mondovì Breo and dominates Piazza S. Pietro; it is one of the most beautiful in the city, surrounded by important and decorated buildings; one enters the interior through an imposing marble staircase and a beautiful carved doorway, which with the raised portal to the facade, at the top of which was placed a curious canopy that protects a 'Moro', which, with a hammer, hits a bell and marks the hours of the underlying clock and draws the attention of passers-by.

Sul sagrato della chiesa risalta la bella fontana del delfino. Un’altra caratteristica di questa chiesa è la presenza dell’automa del Moro che è disposto sull'apice della facciata che batte le ore affacciandosi dal suo elegante balconcino. In the very pretty square with many historic buildings overlooking it, the Church of Santi Pietro e Paolo rises close to the hill, inserted between the houses. The beautiful dolphin fountain stands out in the churchyard. Another feature of this church is the presence of the Moor automaton which is arranged on the apex of the facade that beats the hours looking out from its elegant balcony.
G	Giuosuè Zeneize on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sul sagrato della chiesa spicca la caratteristica fontana del delfino, scolpita dallo scultore Giulio Avagnina nel 1988, in sostituzione di un esemplare ottocentesco. La facciata della chiesa aveva in origine un semplice paramento in mattoni ed era preceduta da un prato e una scaletta. Oggi è raccordata alla piazza da una sinuosa scalinata, realizzata a partire dal 1780 dal marmoraro Giuseppe Quadròne, ma completata solamente nel XX secolo dal monregalese Pietro Manzo. Come ricorda una lapide, su questa scalinata sostò, nel 1809, papa Pio VII in transito a Mondovì prigioniero di Napoleone. Nella parte superiore della facciata si apriva una finestra, murata nel 1900 e coperta dall’affresco con La caduta di Simon Mago, dipinto da Luigi Morgàri. Un’altra particolarità di questa chiesa è la presenza dell’automa del Moro, collocato sulla sommità della facciata a fine Settecento, che richiama i moregalesi battendo le ore, affacciandosi dal suo elegante baldacchino.....?? The facade of the church originally had a simple brick facing and was preceded by a lawn and a ladder. Today it is connected to the square by a sinuous staircase, built starting in 1780 by the marble worker Giuseppe Quadròne, but completed only in the twentieth century by the Monregalese Pietro Manzo. As a plaque recalls, on this staircase in 1809, Pope Pius VII stopped in transit in Mondovì, a prisoner of Napoleon. In the upper part of the facade there was a window, walled up in 1900 and covered by the fresco with The fall of Simon Mago, painted by Luigi Morgàri. Another peculiarity of this church is the presence of the Moor automaton, located on the top of the facade at the end of the eighteenth century, which recalls the Moregalese by beating the hours, looking out from its elegant canopy ..... ??
