Malá privátní " Florence Design Academy " , která je v blízkosti ?? mnohem známnějši Accademia delle Arti e del Disegno, s proslulou Galleria dell' Accademia, vystavující originály děl Michelangela a dalších velikánů. Fotografie k tomuto Museum of Craft jen svědčí o naprosté zmatenosti a nevzdělanosti turistů. Mnoho také způsobuje to, že názvy objektů nejsou uváděny v místním jazyce, jak by se slušelo.
A small private "Florence Design Academy", which is nearby ?? much better known Accademia delle Arti e del Disegno, with the famous Galleria dell 'Accademia, exhibiting original works by Michelangelo and other greats. The photos of this Museum of Craft only testify to the complete confusion and ignorance of tourists. Many also cause object names not to be listed in the local language as appropriate.

This is an amazing museum: The Galleria dell'Accademia di Firenze is an art museum in Florence, Italy. It is best known as the home of Michelangelo's sculpture David. It also has other sculptures by Michelangelo and a large collection of paintings by Florentine artists, mostly from the period 1300–1600, the Trecento to the Late Renaissance. It is smaller and more specialized than the Uffizi, the main art museum in Florence. It adjoins the Accademia di Belle Arti or academy of fine arts of Florence, but despite the name has no other connection with it. The Galleria dell'Accademia has housed the original David by Michelangelo since 1873. The sculpture was allegedly brought to the Accademia for reasons of conservation, although other factors were involved in its move from its previous outdoor location on Piazza della Signoria. The original intention was to create a 'Michelangelo museum', with original sculptures and drawings, to celebrate the fourth centenary of the artist's birth. Today, the gallery's small collection of Michelangelo's work includes his four unfinished Prisoners, intended for the tomb of Pope Julius II, and a statue of Saint Matthew, also unfinished. In 1939, these were joined by a Pietà discovered in the Barberini chapel in Palestrina, though experts now consider its attribution to Michelangelo to be dubious.

This is one of the most important museums in Florence. The art works are amazing and I can only suggest you to go and visit it. It's a Museum of old school art. I was shocked and astonished when I was what you can do with simple marble or stone, not like modern design but real musem art. The sculptures are that realistic that somethimes you have the impression that they look at you. As I told you, it's old school Museum with real art. Today it would be impossible to reach this quality of art and I can only say that it is very sad that this craft and design is disappearing. Don't miss the museum here, it will show youwhat humans can do when they want.

The school situated in a building, they just rented one floor. No library, no cafeteria. No academic advisor. There is one person, school staff exists and helps students for everything. She is very helpful. Compare to American education experience, this school seems to be a small local business. Their tuition is less expensive. However the quality of facilities follows the same. FDA has a different credit systetm so you might want to know before you go. They also don’t offer you a student ID card. There are many good teachers and good classes. One of the downsides is you cannot choose and organize your own schedule, you might end up taking a bunch of classes you don’t think it’s helpful for your future job. If you apply, you will mostly get in. I liked the program. But you may want to see the school before you apply. They just included pictures of a famous museum in the city. No real photos of classrooms of the inside of the school for some reason.
