★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was a good museum and with the 10 Euro per person price tag. We didn't almost two hours here seeing the extensive naval history that Venice has played a part it. Lots of models and historic cannons on display. The staff was mostly friendly and the building was easy to navigate.
The downside were that as you progressed up the levels the English translations begin to disappear and you find yourself rushing through the final floors. It left a little to be desired, but all in all was a good stop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crammed museum with random unstructured collection of random remnants of Venetian/Italian glory - no story, no concept. Even more so as you can't visit the hall with the boats these days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too much expensive for what you show... Written by psycho rigid people to make you frustrated!!! So sad. You could explain why, how, what for... You just say when and what in a very short phrase. Afflicting...
You could have some beautiful stories to tell...with passionate guides for instance... A great idea to install...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generally a good museum. Well planned, easy to move about, good signage, varied exhibits. If you are into boats, military history, nautical engineering or Venetian history you will enjoy this. My only complaint is that there is not enough about Venice. People come to Venice to learn about Venice not Italy. There are only a few boats from Venice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely little museum. My boys loved all the ships. Plaques in English (as well as other languages). Air conditioned. We’ll taken care of and very interesting. Beautiful view outside of it as well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great naval museum. Many displays and artifacts. Plan on three hours or so to explore all of it.
Elevator was out of order, so we took the stairs. At various times a member of the staff followed us and watched us as we made our way through the exhibits. Understandable, but still off putting.
It would have been nice if the staff members had approached us and ask if we had questions about the exhibits.

Not so crowded like the super touristic spots
But with great exhibits and a lot of history
The museum could be a bit more interactive as it has a classical/old school structure
