★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am not a great lover of modern and contemporary art, but every rule has its exceptions. This museum is located in what once was a ancient hospital, with a cloister and a beautiful loggia visible from Santa Maria Novella. The building has been skillfully adapted to its new role and, sometimes, it is more interesting than the exhibition itself. Definitely worth a visit if you have time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small collection of exhibits for its size and a bit overpriced, but nonetheless it’s worth a visit if you are more into Modern Art since the rest of the city is crammed up with Renaissance works.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In terms of art quality compared to other countries it is on the low side for 20th century in my opinion. If you're not into this type of art specially pertaining to Italian 20th century artists, you're in and out within 20 minutes. With the exception of the employees there I didn't see a single vistor throughout the entire two story museum so mid to high chance you'll have the place to yourself.
