Magari sarà colpa nostra che non abbiamo reclamato ma siamo usciti ma cmq non ci sembra normale. Sarà stato perché eravamo gli unici due visitatori? When you walk into a museum and climb to the first floor and all the lights are off they remain a bit 'so. Maybe it will be our fault that we did not complain but we left but cmq does not seem normal. Was it because we were the only two visitors?

Vengono organizzate guide, attività per le famiglie e anche attività per la catechesi (è museo diocesano). Lo consiglio vivamente a chi viene a visitare Vicenza ma anche a chi è di Vicenza proprio perché è un museo nuovo e giovane. Sottolineo che dal museo si può avere accesso al Criptoportico Romano e anche agli scavi archeologici sotto alla cattedrale di Vicenza. Due occasioni veramente ghiotte. Andateci! Recently established museum. Always welcoming and well structured. Guides, activities for families and activities for catechesis are organized (it is a diocesan museum). I highly recommend it to those who come to visit Vicenza but also to those who come from Vicenza precisely because it is a new and young museum. I underline that from the museum you can have access to the Roman Cryptoporticus and also to the archaeological excavations under the cathedral of Vicenza. Two really tasty occasions. Go there!
S	Silvia O. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il museo di per sé è interessante (a partire dal gioiello di Vicenza, motivo che ci ha spinto a visitarlo) ma quello che abbiamo apprezzato di più è stata la guida competente e appassionata di Umberto, che ci ha accompagnato nelle varie sale fornendoci spiegazioni e aneddoti. Peccato che essendo molto di corsa abbiamo visto solo due piani, ritorneremo in un'altra occasione per completare la visita. The museum itself is interesting (starting with the jewel of Vicenza, the reason that prompted us to visit it) but what we appreciated most was Umberto's competent and passionate guide, who accompanied us in the various rooms providing us with explanations and anecdotes. Too bad that being very fast we only saw two floors, we will return on another occasion to complete the visit.

Anzi, dirò di più: il museo conserva due raccolte uniche nel loro genere; la prima è dedicata alle sfere donate da Monsignor Giacomo Pietro Nonis, mentre la seconda riguarda l'etnografia. Oggetti provenienti dall'Africa Cristiana, Sub-Sahariana, Oceania, Asia e Sud America popolano una sezione a sé stante del museo, ma visitabile su prenotazione. Spesso si pensa al museo della diocesi come a qualcosa di vecchio ed ammuffito, e invece no! A riprova di ciò sono le molteplici attività didattiche promosse per adulti e piccini e le famose "famiglie in museo" - totalmente gratuite. Se nessuna di queste attività vi soddisfa, le visite guidate all'area archeologica e al criptoportico (da prenotare) potrebbero fare al caso vostro! Date una chance a questo museo e non ve ne pentirete! :) Nel caso però aveste dubbi o voleste pianificare la vostra visita in modo efficiente, contattate il museo e riceverete tutte le istruzioni del caso. The Diocesan Museum of Vicenza is a young institution that offers its user not only a refined collection of sacred objects, but also the opportunity to relive the history of Vicenza itself. Indeed, I will say more: the museum holds two unique collections of their kind; the first is dedicated to the spheres donated by Monsignor Giacomo Pietro Nonis, while the second concerns ethnography. Objects from Christian Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Oceania, Asia and South America populate a separate section of the museum, which can be visited by appointment. People often think of the diocese museum as something old and moldy, but no! Proof of this are the many educational activities promoted for adults and children and the famous "families in the museum" - totally free. If none of these activities satisfy you, the guided tours of the archaeological area and the cryptoporticus (to be booked) might be for you! Give this museum a chance and you won't regret it! :) However, if you have any doubts or would like to plan your visit efficiently, contact the museum and you will receive all the necessary instructions.

Le sale, molto elegantemente ordinate, raccontano anche la successione dei nostri Vescovi. Accanto a questo un attento sguardo all’arte, in un saggio, esperto e ammirabile progetto che contempla una esposizione pregiata a 360 gradi. Ci vorrebbe un saggio per magnificarne le indubbie qualità ! It is the custodian of many precious finds that document the ancient history of Vicenza. The rooms, very elegantly ordered, also tell the succession of our Bishops. Alongside this, a careful look at art, in an essay, expert and admirable project that includes a valuable 360-degree exhibition. It would take an essay to magnify its undoubted qualities!
