Fabulous facility. It's wonderful to see history preserved so tastefully. On the day of our visit the temperature was 37 degrees outdoors and the air conditioning was very welcomed. An onsite cafe.would be a great addition.

The must visit museum. Excellent service exhibition with interesting frescos, rooms and a lot of statues. Plan at least 2 hours. The entrance fee is €10 per person.

Outstanding museum complex that includes archeological remains from the ancient Roman city along with multiple Christian environments variously dispersed across the monastic complex all organized thematically to describe the timeline of the city.

What a wonderful place! My hometown jewel. Amazing artistic complex that explores different eras of the city. The Nuns' Choir is spectacular but the very best is the cross chapel Santa Maria in Solario with it's starry ceiling. It takes at least 2 good hours to visit it all but every room it's worth the time. Children friendly. Lovely open space to sit and have a snack (vending machine available), small children play area and breastfeeding corner. Staff speaks english too.

For history lovers this is a excellent museum. Amazing Roman remains of two houses with mosaic floors and many artifacts. Also the Chapel and crypt are not to be missed. Very helpful and friendly staff. Allow 2 hours.

Extremely beautiful and great museum. Original in layout and way to present the pieces. Plus beautiful roman remains around.

In a country as Italy, it is difficult to rate archeo museums. Probably this is not a top destination, but if you are in the area it is worth a visit. Personally find Roman and Longbard exhibits the most interesting ones. Beside the exhibits, the quality of the organization is one of the best in Italy
