★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un po'di storia non fa male. Quello di Arcole, abbinato all'obelisco napoleonico, raccoglie reperti, stampe, vessilli e diorama di Napoleone e delle sue truppe. Situato in un piccolo stabile è stato recentemente ristrutturato e ampliato.
A little history doesn't hurt. The one in Arcole, combined with the Napoleonic obelisk, collects artifacts, prints, banners and dioramas of Napoleon and his troops. Located in a small building, it has recently been renovated and enlarged.

Il museo si trova in una chiesa ottocentesca dove sono esposte le testimonianze dell'epoca napoleonica: reperti, cimeli, dipinti e arredi originali in stile impero.
Impressionante la quantità di stampe dell’epoca, “bulletin” e manifesti che documentano tale periodo.
Accanto alla chiesa hanno creato una zona dove c’è la biglietteria e alcune informazioni storiche relative alle epoche antecedenti a quelle napoleoniche.
Mi è piaciuto molto, ma se resta così piccolo potrebbe rischiare in futuro, mentre con un piccolo sforzo economico si potrebbe ingrandirei il museo aggiungendo cimeli veri o riproduzioni per spiegare in maniera più completa tale epoca (basta vedere la mostra itinerante “j’arrive” che ha toccato già molte città d’Italia). Per completare l’opera, prenderei accordi con le scuole per la visita al museo.
Ma forse hanno già pensato a tutte queste soluzioni …
A SMALL MUSEUM THAT WILL GROW
The museum is located in a nineteenth-century church where the remains of the Napoleonic era are exhibited: finds, relics, paintings and original Empire-style furnishings.
The amount of prints of the time, "bulletins" and posters documenting this period are impressive.
Next to the church they have created an area where there is a ticket office and some historical information relating to the eras prior to the Napoleonic ones.
I liked it a lot, but if it remains so small it could risk in the future, while with a small economic effort I could enlarge the museum by adding real memorabilia or reproductions to explain this era more completely (just see the traveling exhibition "j'arrive" which has already touched many cities in Italy). To complete the work, I would make arrangements with the schools to visit the museum.
But maybe they have already thought about all these solutions ...

Si trova in centro paese aperto solo nel week end o infrasettimanale su prenotazione per gruppi e scuole. Costo abbastanza contenuto.
E stato ampliato e sistemato nel corso degli anni, si presenta bene, ordinato.
Da visitare, una bella atrazione locale .
Possibilità di parcheggio senza problemi .
This museum dedicated to Napoleon Bonaparte is very beautiful and interesting.
It is located in the town center open only on weekends or midweek by reservation for groups and schools. Quite low cost.
It has been extended and refurbished over the years, it looks good, tidy.
To visit, a nice local attraction.
Possibility of parking without problems.
