★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful ancient monastery, with a library and exhibitions. It was incredibly peaceful just being on the island, and the sunset from there is stunning.
Our tour was in Armenian, and the tour guide was so lovely. He really took the time to explain interesting facts, making sure we got the most from our visit. Thank you so much.
Tours are at 3.25pm and also offered in English and Italian.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great way to get out of the crowds for an afternoon! Be sure to call ahead if you would like to visit. There are English and Italian tours almost daily. The monastery also sells their original rose jam that is delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extraordinary collection of centuries worth of quality art, books and artifacts in a humble setting. It's not a museum. Felt like historical time capsule. Our English speaking guide was excellent. One of the highlights of our trip.
Note: only open at 3:25pm so cannot access the island or monastery prior to that time. The tour is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. Ferry #20 is only public transport. Approximately 15 minutes ride

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most incredible place to see in Venice if your Armenian or your from another world this place has history and will give you goosebumps. My wife and I had a great experience in just less than two hours of the presentation. I highly recommend to see this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful Armenian Catholic monastery close to Venice. They run a tour at 3:25 pm and the tour guide was amazing. She knew so much about the monastery, Armenian history and the amazing library housed in the Island. If you have the time well worth visiting.
