We stayed at Le Petit Hotel (approx.50 Euro Hotel including breakfast) just an easy walk from the main train station in Turin (Torino) and easy walk to the Museum. The Museum "tour" is done by a headset in your language as you walk through at your own pace. The life size hologram of the crucified Man in the image is by itself worth visiting this museum. The museum was only a few Euros for admission and yes the workers were very kind. If you can read up on the observed scientific evidence about the Shroud Fabric and the Image before your visit you will have the most appreciation. Documented scientific observations of the shroud and its image are mostly consistent with scriptures of the abuse, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Messiah Christ. I highly recommend the visit.

S	Steve G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite good. The shroud is NOT HERE, but they have a full size copy and and a fair amount of info about it's history. Entry adult 8 Eur, quite expensive for such a small exhibition.

If it was a fake someone mastered the art in 1300s and as we still can't replicate the art today. It's a good story and the image is the template for any picture of Jesus still today although this was not necessarily evidence he existed

It explains both sides of the argument as to its authenticity so it's up to you to interpret what you see. We'll worth spending the time to listen and learn and one of the cheapest museums in Turin
D	David on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you wish to see information about the Turin Shroud it is an ok place to start. First shown a 7 minute video showing various photographs with written information that disappears before you have time to absorb. Then move to small room and shown same copies of photographs. Then copy of shroud on way to basement to see more copies. Copies are a little repetitive.

It’s fascinating to to read about the journey of the shroud and it’s importance to the church. Please note that the original shroud is not on display here. The shroud is publicly displayed only once every few years with prior announcements.
