P	PAOLO GOZZI on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visita guidata in miniera non prevista ma grazie al signor Ettore abbiamo capito le problematiche di lavoro che avevano in questa zona della Toscana e non solo. Con fare professionale e conciso ci ha messo in giusta evidenza tutto quanto mancava per la sicurezza del lavoro cosa ahimè molto molto attuale per tutti. Consigliamo vivamente questa visita anche con ragazzini. Grazie da Paolo e Marina di Trieste Guided tour of the mine not planned but thanks to Mr. Ettore we understood the work problems they had in this area of Tuscany and beyond. In a professional and concise manner, he rightly highlighted all that was missing for job security, which unfortunately is very very current for everyone. F	Francesco Grasso on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interessante. E' il caso di precisare, tuttavia, che si tratta di un museo con la RICOSTRUZIONE di alcune scene di vita in miniera. Le gallerie in cui si svolge la visita, infatti, NON costituivano una miniera, bensì una cava medievale di materiale da costruzione (essenzialmente travertino), che è poi stata opportunamente ampliata e ramificata durante la seconda guerra mondiale, per essere usata come rifugio antiaereo. Se i visitatori non hanno chiaro quanto sopra, possono facilmente confondersi. Interesting. It should be noted, however, that it is a museum with the RECONSTRUCTION of some scenes of life in the mine. The galleries where the visit takes place, in fact, did NOT constitute a mine, but a medieval quarry of construction material (essentially travertine), which was then conveniently expanded and branched during the Second World War, to be used as an air-raid shelter. If visitors are not clear about the above, they can easily get confused.
H	Horok Man on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Museo dimostrativo molto particolare, una visita che porta a conoscere una piccola parte di storia collegata alla vita dei minatori; con aneddoti che variano dalla struttura economica dell'epoca e il grande ricavo economico creato dalle miniere, a la praticità degli strumenti utilizzati dai minatori, la complessità delle strutture minerarie, alcuni tipi di studi che ne comportano e anche alla partecipazione, negl'anni, delle donne nei lavori. Very particular demonstration museum, a visit that leads to know a small part of history connected to the life of the miners; with anecdotes that vary from the economic structure of the time and the large economic revenue created by the mines, to the practicality of the tools used by the miners, the complexity of the mining structures, some types of studies that involve them and also to the participation, over the years, of women in work.

Opportuno fissare la visita dato che non a tutte le ore partono le visite se non ci sono altri visitatori Made with our children aged 10 and 12.
