★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Percorso che si snoda nei sotterranei di un palazzo nobiliare, dove sono state collocate urne funerarie etrusche e lapidi, oltre ad altre cose risalenti invece alla famiglia proprietaria e datate 1700/1800. Poi all'interno di uno dei cunicoli che si percorrono ci si può affacciare in un profondo e grande pozzo (30metri di profondità). Il ragazzo che ci faceva da guida era molto preparato e disponibile a rispondere alle nostre curiosità. Peccato che il posto non sia frequentato come la più famosa Orvieto non avendo appunto nulla da invidiare come bellezza e reperti storici. Consigliato in abbinamento al Labirinto di Porsenna (non per chi si trova a disagio negli spazi chiusi).
Path that winds through the basement of a noble palace, where Etruscan funerary urns and tombstones have been placed, as well as other things dating back to the owner family and dated 1700/1800. Then, inside one of the tunnels that you go through, you can look into a deep and large well (30 meters deep). The guy who was driving us was very prepared and willing to respond to our curiosity. Too bad that the place is not frequented as the most famous Orvieto not having anything to envy as beauty and historical finds. Recommended in combination with Porsenna's Labyrinth (not for those who are uncomfortable in enclosed spaces).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Museum ist in zwei Gebäuden untergebracht. Am besten 20 Minuten vor der Führung im Museo Civico sein und dort die Ausstellung über das unterirdische Chiusi ansehen. Im Untergeschoss gibt es ein Modell der oberirdischen und unterirdischen Stadt.
Die eigentliche Führung geht dann am zweiten Standort los (2 Min zu Fuß). Das Highlight sind die beiden Zisternen und der Urnengang.
Dauer etwa 30-40 Minuten. Führungen auf Englisch und Italienisch. Für Kinder ab 3 geeignet, da einige Stufen.
The museum is housed in two buildings. It is best to be at the Museo Civico 20 minutes before the tour and see the exhibition about the underground Chiusi. In the basement there is a model of the aboveground and underground city.
The actual tour then starts at the second location (2 minutes on foot). The highlights are the two cisterns and the urn passage.
Duration about 30-40 minutes. Guided tours in English and Italian. Suitable for children from 3, as there are some levels.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small museum with Etruscan and Roman objects but with access to a large underground complex that is included in a tour that is included with the price of admission. Burial tiles from the Etruscan period were a special feature. Highly recommended.
