S	Stefania Stranieri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Si fanno i biglietti al castello inferiore (5 € adulti e 3€ i bambini sopra i 4 anni). Si sale per il sentiero del Carmine e ad un certo punto c'è la tabella per il camminamento di Ronda. Si attende una lunga fila e con amara sorpresa i biglietti si potevano fare anche lì. Lo trovo poco corretto con chi invece ha atteso l'apertura della biglietteria e fatto 2 file. Poi arriva un'altra amara sorpresa, una famiglia che salta la fila tutta e senza presentare i biglietti e nemmeno pagare salgono. Boh io sempre più allibita, non so chi fossero queste persone ma non è stato affatto corretto. C'è un addetto all'imbracatura e finalmente si sale per dei gradoni lungo la cinta muraria di est. Panorama mozzafiato! L'unica pecca è che una volta su bisogna attendere che quelli di sotto siano arrivati tutti e poi procedere nella discesa. Unica cosa negativa è la cinta muraria del castello Superiore che una volta si poteva percorrere, adesso invece non più forse perché il castello è in ristrutturazione. Aldilà di tutto merita! Tickets are available for the lower castle (€ 5 for adults and € 3 for children over 4). You go up the path of the Carmine and at a certain point there is the table for the walkway of Ronda. A long queue awaits and, with bitter surprise, tickets could be bought there too. I find it unfair with those who have waited for the ticket office to open and made 2 rows. Then comes another bitter surprise, a family that skips the whole line and without presenting the tickets or even paying they go up. I don't know who these people were but it was not correct at all. There is an employee in the harness and finally you go up some steps along the east wall. Breathtaking panorama! The only flaw is that once up you have to wait for those below to have all arrived and then proceed downhill. The only negative thing is the walls of the Upper castle that once could be crossed, but now no longer perhaps because the castle is undergoing renovation. Beyond everything it deserves!

Nella foto é presente il castello superiore con vista da quello inferiore The walkway has recently been inaugurated, certainly not to be missed. C	Cristian on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La cinta muraria abbraccia la parte pianeggiante abitativa di Marostica per poi salire attraverso i pendii rocciosi verso il Castello Superiore. E’ un susseguirsi di cortine merlate unite tra loro da torri (o torresini) costituendo un unico complesso fortificato collegando il Castello Inferiore e il Castello Superiore. La cinta muraria è tutta merlata e si estende per circa 1755 metri ai quali si devono aggiungere altri 95 metri del circuito perimetrale della Rocca Superiore. In totale quindi secondo le misurazioni effettuate da Fausto Mabilia su base catastale lungo l’asse dell’intero perimetro delle mura compresi castelli e torresini è di metri 1850 (Muraro, 1989). The walls embrace the flat residential part of Marostica and then go up through the rocky slopes towards the Upper Castle. It is a succession of crenellated curtains joined together by towers (or torresini) forming a single fortified complex connecting the Lower Castle and the Upper Castle. The walls are all crenellated and extend for about 1755 meters to which another 95 meters of the perimeter circuit of the Rocca Superiore must be added. In total, therefore, according to the measurements made by Fausto Mabilia on a cadastral basis along the axis of the entire perimeter of the walls including castles and small towers, it is 1850 meters (Muraro, 1989).

Da fare in una giornata soleggiata e ventilata per godere al massimo della bellezza del panorama senza troppo sudare Fantastic excursion, not difficult, but certainly a bit tiring .. both uphill and downhill. D	David Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Intact town walls that are all the more impressive as they stretch up the hill from the "Lower Castle" to the "Higher Castle". I was there during the Christmas period and the walls were lit up at night. Fantastic.
