β β β β β One of the most important monument in Bassano Del Grappa rich of history and patriotic memory. I stopped by at the Nardini distillery on Ponte Vecchio and had the most amazing aperitif ever with the Nardini "Mezzoemezzo", right before grabbing my lunch.
Bassano in not on the usual tourist list but for me deserve a stop, if you have a chance.

It's not reallt typical turistic place but it's worth to visit more than lots of more popular. Beautiful old bridge on the mountain river, with a view on the castle and Dolomiti.
The story and proud.

β β β β β City's most famous site, the old bridge. It's kept in excellent condition, most recently painted. The bridge connects the two sides of the city together. There is not much on the west side, except for some restaurants. Definitely a highlight of the city. Bars all around it. Beautiful views of the river and mountains behind the city.

β β β β β Beautiful wooden bridge over the River Brenta in the centre of town.
From it there are lovely views of the Brenta and the mountains in the distance.
Vice versa there is a great view of the bridge from the courtyard of Palazzo Sturm (as well as from many other points of course).
