C	Carlo Raso on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il museo è stato riaperto dopo un ottimo restauro, grazie ai soldi di alcune fondazioni e alla donazione di Lucia Guelpa. Non può essere paragonato ad altri musei, ma nel suo piccolo ci racconta storie del territorio e vite di collezionisti. La mostra si divide in 5 parti. 1 - La collezione archeologia che raccoglie le testimonianze della città e del suo territorio dall’età neolitica fino ai documenti materiali del periodo basso medievale. Parte di questi reperti furono raccolti dal conte Carlo Francesco Baldassarre Perrone, coadiuvato dal conte Paolo Pinchia. Alcuni reperti provengono da ritrovamenti fatti durante gli scavi di edifici come l’Hotel La Serra, etc … 2 – La collezione tra medioevo e rinascimento con utilizzo di terracotta nell’edilizia e statue lignee 3 – La collezione Croff, composta da diversi quadri raccolti da questo amante dell’arte che sono arrivati al museo tramite la donazione della signora Lucia Guelpa. 4 – La collezione di paesaggi di carta con dipinti di Ivrea e Canavese. 5 – La collezione Orientale creata grazie alle raccolte di Perrone e Pier Alessandro Garda, con oggetti di porcellana, lacca, carta, seto, metallo, … Andrebbe migliorato l’audio dei video sulla storia di Guelpa e Garda. Inoltre dovrebbe essere ulteriormente ampliata con qualcosa che completi la storia del territorio: il canavese è castelli … artisti … truppe napoleoniche …. Da non perdere, soprattutto per gli eporediesi. The museum was reopened after a great renovation, thanks to the money of some foundations and the donation of Lucia Guelpa. P	Pietro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Museo allestito in maniera ottimale! La collezione archeologica è ben documentata e periodicamente si svolgono mostre molto curate. Ci eravamo già stati qualche anno fa e ci siamo tornati in occasione della mostra sull'artista belga Folon e i suoi rapporti con la Olivetti. Per l'occasione sono stati esposti poster pubblicitari, gadget tipo agendine, tazze, puzzle per bambini, due libri strenna da lui illustrati e alcune macchine da scrivere e calcolatrici storiche della Olivetti con materiale d'archivio. Le spiegazioni sono semplici, essenziali e utili a comprendere l'opera di questo artista. La visita alla mostra richiede circa 40 minuti a cui si aggiungono un paio d'ore da dedicare alla collezione permanente. Visita molto consigliata Museum set up in an optimal way! The explanations are simple, essential and useful to understand the work of this artist. The visit to the exhibition takes about 40 minutes plus a couple of hours to devote to the permanent collection. Visit highly recommended
