★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il mulino Cocchi si trova sulla riva sinistra del Nera, risale probabilmente ai secoli XVI e XVII e deve il suo nome all'antica famiglia proprietaria del luogo (poi passato ai Manassei e infine al Comune di Spoleto, che è a tutt'oggi il proprietario dell'area).
Il mulino era alimentato da un "canaletto" di derivazione che partendo dalla riva destra del Velino, superando ponti canali e condotte forzate delle ex centrali di Marmore, Terni, Spoleto e Collestatte arrivava al Mulino con una portata all'origine di 1,30mc/sec.
Ad oggi il canaletto funziona ancora per usi irrigui, non arrivando più ovviamente a alimentare il Mulino i cui resti sono quelli riportati alla luce da poco, che vedete in foto.

To date, the canal still works for irrigation purposes, obviously no longer reaching the mill whose remains are those recently unearthed, which you see in the photo.
